So, my scanner at home is not recognizing my drivers which means now I have to resort to my phone to get a drawn image onto my machine. Hence the awful resolution. That said, here's a colored sketch.

This cat also starred in that book. It consistently sold over a million copies and yet never could get that whole "story" thing together.

Tonight's drawing was to be a combination of a dragon, ninja, octopus, and a shadow. So we had reference of all this stuff and if I ran into any hick ups all I had to do was look up at the screen and boom! There it is! But alas looking up turned out to be a bit of a challenge so I went on what I remembered of ninjas. In my head they were not Japanese assassins, they were friggen turtles with fancy red bandanas. Dragons, piece of cake - a lizard with a cool goatee and bat wings. And a shadow? It's a effing silhouette based on a light source. Right? Well, those last two didn't appeal as much as the first ones so that's why they don't appear in my drawing.

So, this is what I ended up with.

There is nothing exceptional about this image. I don't expect you to gain anything from the viewing experience nor do I have any delusions that something magical will happen after you see it and you will spill out the best work ever after seeing it. I just felt it necessary to post because I had a blast drawing it. Coloring it didn't take more then a few minutes and the drawing itself had a number of balance issues what were more or less corrected in photoshop. So there you have it. :)

We were supposed to have burritos that night. Colin, Anne, and Dax were on their way and I had just finished up cleaning the house. All I had left to do was brush my teeth and I was ready.

Then, nothing.

It's weird when it happens. There is no warning. The pets don't get jittery. There are no dark clouds in the sky. The hair on my neck doesn't stand up. Everything that I'm physically aware of just stops. Then, in unison, every muscle in my body decides it's just going to work out for a bit. That's where the twitching comes from. When your bicep and triceps decide to flex at the same time there is a conflict of direction. Now picture every muscle in your body doing it. It's not pretty and it hurts like a bitch when you come to. Contrary to popular belief when you wake up it is not darkness that you see, but this big sheet of white that slowly lets in shape and form. Oh yeah, this is the best part, you don't remember anything. Not who you are. Where you live. Nothing. Eventually it does return, but for a few minutes it's like everything is a distant memory and you are getting reacquainted with things like fingers, walls and whatever you may have landed on.

This image is all that I remember from the last episode. I hate using the term seizure just about as much as I hate having them. When I came to I recall Colin's expression more then who he was. I'd seen it no my parents face many times growing up and without him speaking I knew what had happened. The recognition part took a little bit, but when it did I was never more happy to see him.
